Dr Stefanidis brings more than 20 years of teaching experience in the public and private sector to Phi Tuition. He holds a First-class degree in Physics, an MSc and a PhD in Nuclear and Particle Physics. He joined the ATLAS team at CERN, where he worked for 10 years until the completion of his doctorate thesis. Having a strong background in computational physics and statistical modelling, his educational interests and research have focused on using simulation tools to teach physics. His passion for teaching Physics to young people made him a valuable member of the Physics community. He is the author of many Physics books, which can be found on Amazon and Google Play. He is an active member of the Institute of Physics (IoP), the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) and The Tutors’ Association (TTA). He holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and he often gives lectures related to teaching Physics. Dr Stefanidis remains driven to see even more young people become confident and excited about Physics as they develop a deeper understanding of its key concepts.
